“I’m endorsing Susan Morris for Isanti county commissioner. Susan has been at the forefront of accountability in county government. Working on improvements in delivery of services and keeping the budget as lean as possible. Susan is a great communicator. As a township supervisor, I appreciate how Susan relays information in a timely manner that helps keep our local unit of grass roots government moving as efficiently as possible. Without Question, Susan is a proud supporter of our men and women both current and past military. Susan was a founding member to create our veterans memorial park so we will never forget those who sacrificed so much and often everything so we can have a free country to call home. Living in Isanti County we have much to be thankful for including our parks, with Susan’s help and support we have Anderson Park, this is a large park that will no doubt be a gathering place for people to relax, celebrate and discover our beautiful nature for generations to come. Susan did not become a County Commissioner to use it as a stepping stone for some higher office, she believes in helping her neighbors have a safe place to live, work and enjoy all our area has to offer. I’m proud to support Susan for Isanti County Commissioner and I hope you will also support Susan Morris this November.”
— Mike Miller, Oxford Township Supervisor
I support Susan Morris for County Commissioner because I am impressed with her leadership and all that she has accomplished in her years of service to Isanti County. Susan has her roots in Isanti County and understands the local values and the hard work it takes to accomplish any task from farming, to owning and running her own business, to raising a family, or being Chair of the County Commissioners.
Susan works constantly to improve the lives of Isanti County citizens while still demonstrating fiscal responsibility. She is organized and efficient. Here are examples of her work that make her deserving of our support and your vote:
Her work with Family Pathways and the domestic violence shelter
Working with Isanti County Public Health Department on the health of mothers & babies.
She has served on the Public Health Commission, the Isanti Community Health Board and the Isanti Emergency Service Council
Creative work with the Isanti County Commission on Aging and the Senior Enrichment Center/Friendship Café in Cambridge
Spearheading the effort for Isanti County to allow more flexible housing options with the
Alternate Dwelling Units
Supporting veterans by founding Isanti County Beyond the Yellow Ribbon and helping create our beautiful Veterans Memorial Park
Susan has proven herself to be an effective leader for Isanti County and one who truly cares about what is happening with the citizens in the county. She has my support and I hope she has your vote.
